California Marijuana Record Purging:

Most California marijuana offenders can have the record of their conviction purged- both in the local Court and with the California Department of Justice.

Our skilled Attorneys can purge or seal your marijuana (NON trafficking convictions only) conviction records under most circumstances. The law is somewhat complex in certain areas, but purging is something that SHOULD be done by everyone with even a minor marijuana record.

Contrary to popular belief,  California State marijuana records are not sealed automatically with the passage of time, but require the filing and granting of a Petition for relief with the Department of Justice.

The law requires Courts to purge certain Marijuana records after two years, but this is VERY OFTEN NOT DONE.

Fees are reasonable ($750), and include the petitions, court appearances, filing fees and research for BOTH the local Court and California Department of Justice.

Please be aware that while all cases cannot be sealed, many can be; there are some limitations on the relief a sealing can grant in certain cases.
